Taste of Denmark, a European-style Bakery, has been serving freshly baked Danish pastries, croissants, kringles, strudels and breads in Lakewood, Colorado, for over 18 years.
All of our pastries, croissants, and breads are made and baked fresh daily. Everything made by Taste of Denmark is made from scratch and from the best available ingredients.
General Managers Angie and Ronny, along with our dedicated team of Bakers, work together to provide our customers the best, delicious, authentic European-style pastries and breads every day.
Our Bakers have over 38 years of experience combined to craft and create our unique and authentic Danish and European-style pastries and breads, using the best ingredients available.
Our bakers come in at 2:00 in the morning and start making the pastries and breads from scratch — from mixing the dough to baking, a process which takes four to five hours, so that our customers can enjoy our hot-out-of-the-oven pastries and croissants at 7:00am when we open our store.
With a team of Bakers and the front of the house staff, our goal is to provide our customers with top quality European style pastries and a variety of breads at a reasonable price, even though our food costs have gone up by 50% to 300% in recent months.
Our Bakery makes high quality Danish pastries and fresh breads. We put love and pride behind everything we make. Taste of Denmark is proud to donate bakery goods to various charities and food banks in the Denver area.
